Importance of Learning English Language and Some Statistics

Importance of learning English is beyond description. English as an international language is the most widely used language for sharing information throughout the world. From information technology to entertainment in every sector of this global world English reigns like the emperor of languages. The following analysis and statistics would clarify the importance of learning English as a second or foreign language even more.

  • Less than 10% of the total population of the world speaks English as their native language but they possess one third of the total economic force of the world that shows how strongly English influences the global economy.
  • In a statistics it has been seen that 95% of the total available articles online are written in English by native English speakers.
  • English is the only language that has a greater number of non native users than native users. All these English language statistics shout for the importance of learning English. This study clearly indicates why learning English is so important for becoming successful both in personal and global life.
